Klime Kovaceski has unveiled a fresh new album for 2024 that draws together some of his most resonating sounds over the past few years. In that time, he has produced 9 albums with 150+ songs. Now, ‘The Best of Kovaceski Music’ has launched with 14 hand-picked tracks.
“It’s only been two years since I began to make music again,” said Kovaceski. “In that time, I have released 9 albums and often get asked which are my favorite songs. Here are my hand-picked 14. It wasn’t a fun job. It was a rather difficult process leaving out about 150 songs. Just like every musician, I got attached to every song in a unique, special way.”
The 14 singles include “Emptiness” from the ‘Wounds’ album, “OhRid” from the ‘Collective’ album; “Seasons” from the ‘Bridges’ album; “Childhood” from the ‘Forces’ album; “Illuminations – Part 1” from the ‘Dualities’ album; “Nicolas” from the ‘Revival’ album; and “Confession” from the ‘Orphans’ album.
Iva Jazadzievska, the brilliant artist whose vocals were featured on all ten songs from the ‘Wounds’ album, said, “Typically, when I work with music, I think too much and make various scenarios of what would happen or should happen. For this project, it wasn’t like that. Maybe it will be many years before I understand how and why God blessed things to flow so easily.”
Jazadzievska’s striking vocals can be heard in ‘Emptiness’; the official music video for ‘Emptiness’ is now on YouTube.
Another artist who has collaborated with Kovaceski Music is Nikola Pijanmanov. He is a renowned Macedonian painter and created original paintings for six Kovaceski Music album covers. “From the dark deep sound of the Fall of Byzantium, through the early songs of ‘Anastasia’, all the way to ‘Traga’, ‘OhRid’, ‘Rani’, and the latest of Klime’s music, I feel imprints that synchronize with my paintings, as a memory of a distant homeland,” said Pijanmanov.
