myBabyCap hits funding goal on Kickstarter within first 5 hours

July 28 02:18 2021
Just 5 hours after the launch on Kickstarter, myBabyCap hit its funding goal of 4.000,- € surpassing all expectations.

On July 27th 2021, Paul Voytischek, a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Austria, launched myBabyCap on Kickstarter offering caps for infants and toddlers with the goal of raising 4.000,- € in funding for the first production run.

“I would have never expected this kind of overwhelming support”, says founder, Paul Voytischek just hours after the campaign start.

He spent the months leading up to the campaign growing a community on social media by working with influencers across the world and getting featured in different media outlets.

Besides keeping the classic baseball and snapback cap formats for better sun protection, myBabyCap’s goal is to provide several size options for babies as young as infants.

The caps are made out of 100% colorfast and skin friendly cotton twirl.

The idea for myBabyCap was born when his brother complained about not being able to find any cool looking caps for his then 5-month old daughter Lea.

After the campaign ends on August 10th 2021, all bakers will be able to choose their caps from the available size, color and design options. The caps will be sent out in November, according to the current time plan.
