Atlanta, Georgia – Filmmaker Vseant Nath and the Van Pack Productions gang are back with their latest offering for cinephiles everywhere. This one, a sports-based situation comedy which blends tennis, with slapstick humor. Entitled “Neighborhood Racket,” the project is a short film scheduled for release sometime this Spring. The funny flick centers on a tennis coach who, in order to bring down his arch-nemesis, must lead his team to ultimate victory in the finals of a major tournament. Even if it means ‘bending the rules,’ a bit. All players involved are gonna need a mean backhand, and an even more ferocious passing shot, if they hope to rally and smash… the competition!

The official synopsis for the film is featured below:

“Married couples compete in an inter-subdivision tennis tournament. As the final match approaches, Coach Harshit prepares his team, Betty and Gibs, to face that of his old rival, Coach Ron. Coach Harshit is determined to beat Coach Ron and squelch his own longstanding feeling of inferiority.

Coach Harshit trains Betty and Gibs to ‘aim for the balls,’ and not tennis balls, either. Betty and Gibs play Jina and Dick in the final match. A fierce exchange of crotch-shots by both sides culminates in a deadly serve by Betty. Betty’s winning serve leaves Coach Ron with an injury to his manhood. Leaving Coach Harshit to revel in his victory.” No official trailer or teaser is currently available for “Neighborhood Racket” as of yet.
