Two attorneys at Chiumento Dwyer Hertel Grant & Kistemaker, P.L. have been granted admission into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the law firm announced.
AttorneysMichael D. Chiumento III and Ronald A. Hertel have been certified as members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States.
Membership in the forum is limited to lawyers who have served as principal counsel in at least one case in which their client received a settlement, verdict or jury award of $1 million or more. It is estimated that less than 1% of attorneys in the U.S. are members.

Michael D. Chiumento III focuses his legal practice on matters involving personal, real estate and general development. He represents developers, local governments, institutional clients, lenders, and people in all areas of real estate including financing and acquisitions, development and entitlements of real property.
A Florida native, Michael has lived and worked in Volusia and Flagler counties since 1973. He obtained a degree in Civil Engineering and Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 1994. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina in 1999 and returned to Flagler County to practice law.
Ron Hertel focuses his practice on commercial litigation and other civil matters. He has a law degree from the College of Law at Florida International University. After working at a Miami law firm, Ron returned to Flagler County to be nearer his family and joined the law firm in 2011. He became a Partner in 2018.
Ron has attained several awards such as Business Person of the Year in the Young Professionals Group of Flagler and Volusia Counties, and a 40 Under 40 Award in Volusia/ Flagler Business Journal, 2014. He has lived in Flagler County since age 11 and graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School.
Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a high school math teacher and as the chief IT administrator of the University of Florida’s Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Education at the University of North Florida.
