Champagne Glass & Door Expands Storefront Installation Services in Waterloo Region
Champagne Glass & Door has expanded its storefront installation services throughout the Waterloo Region, adding capacity for commercial glazing work at retail shops, offices and mixed-use buildings in Waterloo, Kitchener and neighbouring communities.

WATERLOO, Ontario – August 29, 2026 – Champagne Glass & Door has expanded its storefront installation services throughout the Waterloo Region, adding capacity for commercial glazing work at retail shops, offices and mixed-use buildings in Waterloo, Kitchener and neighbouring communities.

The expanded program covers aluminum storefront systems, all-glass storefronts and entrance assemblies, each measured, fabricated and installed for the specific opening. Crews also handle architectural hardware, including hinges, pivots, closers, panic bars and automatic door operators, so a full entrance can be replaced or upgraded under one contract.

Every project begins with a free on-site field measurement and a review of existing conditions before any glass is cut. The company then coordinates layout and design against structural requirements, door clearances, hardware placement and traffic flow, and specifies tempered or laminated safety glass that meets Ontario code. Fabrication is completed in the company’s Frobisher Drive shop, which allows for custom sizing that stock units cannot accommodate.

“Every opening is different, so we take the measurements on site and look at the framing before anything is fabricated,” said Ryan Shoemaker, owner and founder of Champagne Glass & Door. “On a retail entrance, what matters is that the door operates properly and the glass fits the opening it was cut for. Getting that right the first time is what keeps a business open and its doors working.”

Repair work is included in the expansion. The company assesses cracked panels, damaged doors, failed seals and impact damage, inspecting the surrounding frame, hinges and alignment before new glass goes in. Emergency glass replacement and secure board-up service are available when a property needs to be protected immediately, and installations are scheduled to work around active retail and commercial environments. The company also offers routine maintenance guidance so tenants and building owners can catch failing seals, sticking doors and worn hardware before they become emergency replacements.

Demand for commercial storefront installation in Waterloo has grown alongside renovation activity in the region’s retail corridors, where property managers and general contractors increasingly seek a single local supplier for measurement, fabrication and installation. This Waterloo Region expansion follows a similar move by Champagne Glass & Door into Cambridge retail and commercial corridors earlier this month.

The company draws on more than 40 years of custom glass experience and serves customers across Southwestern Ontario. Businesses can request a quote or schedule an on-site measurement for storefront glass installation across Waterloo by phone or through the company website. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
