Kawasaki Robotics Reopens 1,200+ Dormant Accounts Using SUPPLYCO’s AI Platform

The industrial robotics maker achieved a 15% response rate on cold outreach after deploying SUPPLYCO agents to prioritize accounts by fit, readiness, and timing.

SUPPLYCO AI, the AI workflow platform for manufacturers and distributors, today announced results from its partnership with Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. Using SUPPLYCO agents, the Kawasaki team surfaced more than 1,200 relevant accounts that had been sitting dormant in its CRM, re-engaged and requalified 180+ leads, and reached a 15% response rate on cold outreach.

Kawasaki Robotics, part of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, has built industrial robots since the late 1960s. Its systems run automotive welding lines, high-speed palletizing, and flexible automation across North America. Robotics deals take 12 to 24 months to close and involve stakeholders across operations, engineering, and leadership. For a team selling in that environment, the constraint was never lead volume. It was knowing which accounts deserved attention right now.

“Before the SUPPLYCO platform, timing was a hunch,” said Alexandre Boffi, Manager of General Industries at Kawasaki Robotics. “SUPPLYCO is how we find the right problems faster. It turns all the market noise into clear ‘talk to them now’ moments.”

The partnership began in early 2025 and became a design collaboration by mid-year. Rather than adding another tool to the sales stack, SUPPLYCO and Kawasaki built an AI-driven prospecting workflow that reads real buying signals: hiring trends, facility expansions, capital investments, and operational changes that indicate a company is ready for automation. Years of CRM records were cleaned and reinterpreted against live market data, and qualification logic was refined against the account types that actually close.

The biggest returns came from data Kawasaki already owned. Contacts had changed roles. Companies had shifted priorities. SUPPLYCO agents identified which of those existing relationships were ready for a conversation, and armed the team with context on locations, stakeholders, and next steps.

“I open the SUPPLYCO platform every day and I get context that I can act on; locations, key stakeholders, and a list of priorities with just one click,” said Mitchel Bucholz, Inside Sales Manager at Kawasaki Robotics.

Outreach volume barely changed. The content did. Conversations now open with specifics: a facility expansion, hiring tied to automation, signals of capital investment. That relevance, not automation volume, is what drove the 15% response rate.

“Manufacturers don’t need more leads. They need to know where their team’s time pays off,” said Jannik Wiedenhaupt, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at SUPPLYCO AI. “Kawasaki proved that the fastest pipeline growth was already inside their CRM. Our agents just made it visible and actionable.”
