Natural History Muscum of China’s Dinosaur Park Reopens with an Immersive Eastern Dinosaur Adventure

June 09 01:51 2026

SHENZHEN – Jun 8, 2026 – On the morning of June 5, the opening ceremony of the Natural History Muscum of China’s Dinosaur Park was held at the Natural History Muscum of China Square. In collaboration with Silkroad Visual, the Natural History Muscum of China launched _Dinosaur Park: Escape from the Dragon’s Maw_, a 6D dynamic immersive adventure exhibition.

Silkroad Visual was deeply involved in the project’s development with its full-process integrated capabilities and will also participate in its subsequent operation. This marks another implementation of Silkroad Visual’s EPC-O model and an important practice in deepening full-lifecycle services within a national-level public cultural venue.

01 Embarking on a New Chapter with a Renewed Opening

At the opening ceremony, Xue Li, Party Secretary and Chairperson of the Chinese Association of Natural Science Museums; Liu Hui, Party Secretary of the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology; Chu Jianhao, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau; Liu Chaoying, Chairperson of the Beijing Museum Society; Wang Shiwen, Deputy Party Secretary of the Natural History Muscum of China; and Li Mengdi, Founder and Chairman of Silkroad Visual Technology Co., Ltd., joined other leaders and guests in witnessing the renewed opening of Dinosaur Park.

At the ceremony, Wang Shiwen, Deputy Party Secretary of the Natural History Muscum of China, delivered a speech and introduced the renovation of Dinosaur Park.

Li Mengdi, Founder and Chairman of Silkroad Visual, delivered remarks as the partner representative, sharing Silkroad Visual’s original intention in participating in the upgrade, as well as his reflections on science popularization experiences and public engagement.

He noted that dinosaurs carry the earliest memories of scientific enlightenment for many people. Through this renewal, the project aims to extend the public’s curiosity about nature, life, and exploration in a more immersive and emotionally resonant way.

After the opening ceremony, guests toured and experienced Dinosaur Park, gaining a first-hand sense of the renewed science popularization space and immersive experience.

02 Returning to the Cretaceous for an Immersive Adventure

Located in a core area of the Natural History Muscum of China, Dinosaur Park covers approximately 1,000 square meters. Centered on “immersive experience & science popularization”, it integrates interactive exhibits, scenario simulation, and immersive experiences to recreate the living environment of Chinese dinosaurs during the Cretaceous period, leading visitors into a 6D dynamic adventure realm.

With China’s first all-Chinese dinosaur lineup as a core highlight, the exhibition unfolds a mysterious and dynamic immersive adventure around three central characters: Sinoceratops, Tarbosaurus, and Confuciusornis.

During an approximately 30-minute immersive experience, visitors set out from a dinosaur incubation base and follow the footsteps of Sinoceratops into an ancient realm. Through experience modules such as the glasses-free 3D incubation hall and 6D holographic simulated escape, they complete an Eastern dinosaur adventure that combines scientific knowledge, storytelling, and participation.

03 Putting EPC-O into Practice and Deepening Full-Lifecycle Services

In the upgrade and renewal of Dinosaur Park, Silkroad Visual connected its full-process integrated service capabilities with subsequent operational capabilities, adopting the EPC-O model to extend the project from construction delivery to long-term content updates and public experience operations.

For project development, Silkroad Visual was deeply involved in creative planning, content production, spatial experience design, system integration, and implementation delivery. For market-oriented operation, it will leverage its continuous operational service capabilities to help the science popularization space release lasting content and experience value as it engages the public.

Looking ahead, Silkroad Visual will continue to follow its “Culture & Technology” development strategy, echoing its direction of “technological advancement & productization & internationalization,” and further deepen the application of the EPC-O model in public cultural spaces, digital culture and tourism scenarios, and immersive experience projects.

For consumer-facing cultural consumption scenarios, Silkroad Visual will continue to leverage its creative, implementation, and operational capabilities to transform high-quality content into cultural products with greater appeal, communication value, and long-term value. Together with more public cultural institutions and industry partners, Silkroad Visual will co-create cultural spaces that integrate knowledge value, experiential value, and operational value.
