Lizett Nissenson, Founder of Maven Tile, was recently selected as Top President of the Year 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry. 

Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. All Honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With over two decades of professional experience in the tile industry, Lizett founded  Maven Tile & Stone when she was only 36 years old. Maven Tile is a tile design studio that focuses on displaying unusual tiles and stones, as well as other commodity items. Maven Tile provides one-of-a-kind design services and attention to detail that big-name manufacturers sometimes overlook. They also have a staff that assists in the selection of the appropriate product for any and all special applications. Before you get to the installation step, Maven simplifies the procedure. Maven responds to technical queries and will even perform walk-throughs on full-house projects after work hours.

Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Nissenson has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. This year she will be considered for IAOTP’s Empowered Woman Award and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. She will also be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala being held at the NYC Plaza Hotel this December. Lizett has also been featured on the remarkable Marquis Who’s Who for her extraordinary work in the field.

In addition to her successful career, Ms. Nissenson has worked as a showroom salesperson at several other leading tile companies in Southern California, including GBI Tile and Stone Inc. and Imperial Tile & Stone, Tile Matters as a showroom designer and salesperson, and Ceramic Tile Center as a showroom manager. After becoming an expert in the design process, Ms. Nissenson decided to start her own business in 2016 in Manhattan Beach, California. In 2022 she moved Maven Tiles to Lincoln, Nebraska and has become a staple in her community. Ms. Nissenson loving to give back to her community, is a member of her local chamber of commerce, and a member of the Lincoln Independent Business Association, which allows her to stay current with industry developments.
