MURFREESBORO, TN – July 14, 2021 – Thrive Pest Control today announced the launch of its Thrive Gives Back initiative, which will provide free pest services to families in need living in and around Nashville, TN. Nashville area residents can nominate their friends, family or neighbors to receive free pest services. Thrive will then provide a full pest inspection, removal and treatment services at no cost to the families.

Thrive plans to award one family or individual free services every quarter, beginning in the second fiscal quarter of 2021. Jesse Butikofer, founder and owner of Thrive Pest Control, said he started Thrive Gives Back because he knows just how damaging pests can be to a home and the morale of those living in it. Pests can spread diseases, destroy homes and furniture, cause allergies and harm people and pets in the home.
“Over the years of operating a pest control company, I’ve come across cases where people have terrible issues with bugs yet don’t have the means to get rid of them — cases where kids are stuck in unsanitary environments at home,” Butikofer said. “We at Thrive are very grateful for the opportunity to be business owners in Middle Tennessee, and we want to give back to our community where we can.”
During each fiscal quarter, Thrive will collect nominations and select one family or individual as the recipient of the initiative. Thrive will then contact the recipient and set up a convenient time to perform the services. Although not all pests are included in the free treatment most are.
Those who nominate a family will need to submit their contact details and the contact details of the person they are nominating. They will also need to explain why they believe this person or family should receive free pest services. Those who are nominating may remain anonymous if they wish.
